Drove a 2.6× increase in link-attributed sales through masculinity-first positioning and creator-side narrative scripting.

Overview

YoungLA doesn’t sell clothes — it sells a lifestyle. Discipline. Energy. A chip on your shoulder. But their UGC engine hadn’t caught up with their brand weight. Their athlete videos felt disjointed, the energy inconsistent, and drop performance was fluctuating between viral and forgettable.

We were brought in to systemize the madness — and give their creator arm a framework that matched their cultural footprint.

Approach

The foundation wasn’t clothing — it was narrative. We ran deep psychographic mapping on the top 50 performing creators in the gymwear vertical and isolated the YoungLA archetype: “the no-excuses, blue-collar builder” — part discipline, part chaos, part humor, all edge.

From there, we created a content scripting system that fed creators punchline-first frameworks, locker room hook setups, and gym-floor CTA logic (mirrored shoutouts, pump checks, mid-set callouts). The system split drops into four activation categories:

  • Raw drop promo
  • Identity-lens styling
  • Performance testing
  • Locker room culture loops
Link-based conversion across creator campaigns lifted 2.6× on average over previous drops.

We also built an affiliate dashboard wrapper that auto-pulled IG & TikTok stats, routed UGC back to YoungLA’s internal drop folders, and displayed per-creator performance by time slot and product family.

Athlete post-lag dropped by 48% — creators knew exactly when and how to drop content based on their segment.

Most importantly, we gave the creators permission to be raw — to lean into the lifestyle instead of over-polishing every frame. The result? A content loop that felt like the locker room — not the boardroom.
